Roberto has been associated in the past 30 years with the operating company Tembec, Témiscaming, Québec, Canada and the following international consulting engineering firms:

Roberto is a process design and simulation specialist and has carried out process engineering work in sulfite pulp mills, kraft and soda pulp mills, chemical preparation plants, bleaching plants, paper machines, high yield pulping plants and recycled fibre plants in Asia, Australia, Middle East, New Zealand, North America and South America.

Roberto holds a Doctorate in Chemical Engineering, University of Trieste, Italy (1973) and a Diploma in Computer Programming Technology, Control Data Institute, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada (1986). He also took MBA Courses, Concordia University, Montréal, Québec, Canada (1977-1979).

Giuliana has been associated in the past 36 years with the civil/structural consulting engineering firm Studio Ingegner Amodeo, Trieste, Italy, and the following international consulting engineering firms:

Giuliana is a civil/mechanical design draftsperson who started by preparing drawings in the 1970s on the now obsolete drawing board and later switched flawlessly to AutoCAD® design drafting.

Giuliana holds a Diploma of Civil Engineering Technology, State Technical Institute Leonardo da Vinci, Trieste, Italy (1969). She also took the Plant Application Systems for Computerised Engineering (PASCE) and the Pulp & Paper Process Piping Drafting Courses at H.A. Simons (now AMEC), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and the Fans and Ductwork Systems Course at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada.
